The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council
The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMDSC) is one of 23 regional affiliates of the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
Its MISSION is to assist its corporate members in improving the diversification and innovation of their supply chains by connecting them to well developed, certified minority business enterprises.
CRMSDC is also the Operator of the both the MBDA Business Center and the MBDA Federal Procurement Center. Under the banner of the Minority Business Consortium, it provides the most complete slate of services to assist minority business to grow and prosper.
The Federal Procurement Center
The MBDA Federal Procurement Center, operated by Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council, provides access to federal procurement officials and prime contractors throughout the region. The Center serves minority-owned firms with annual revenues of more than $1 million. The Center is a part of MBDA’s nationwide services network. It is the only MBDA business center solely focused on federal contracting.
Center representatives closely align with clients to understand their capabilities and unique offerings to the federal government, and assist them in developing customized near-term and long-term marketing strategies. The Center’s personnel maintain strong federal agency knowledge, relationships, and contracting expertise.
